Empty Nest Syndrome

Well, my bird nest is now empty. Yes, Mama Dove returned to the smallest baby and taught that one to fly, also. They are now all gone to explore the world, and my flower basket sits empty with only dead flowers.

Must make another trip to the nursery for more flowers.....

Yeah!!! That is for the birds. And Ugh!! for having to make a trip to the nursery. Although I enjoy going to the nursery. We have one that is in a big red barn in SLO, and their nursery stock is the best. In fact, think I'll look around to see if I need any plants.

All is well that ends well in "Doveworld".
I would think that they will come to feed if you have something for them. My son tells me that "I am on a mission" when it come to our feathered friends. Okay:) I am:)
Have a good time at the nursery - it's fun to get new plants when you have a spot to fill!

Gayla! Loved all the pictures and stories of the doves! You really should be a writer! I'm not kidding. You have a great talent.

Oh! The nursery? Seems I recall a great place in Santa Barbara to get orchids! LOL

Take care!

Gayla,
Thank for the bird update. I was glad to know that the smaller one made it ok. It was sweet of you to sacrifice your flowers for the bird family.
