Lighthouses
I like lighthouses. I think they are beautiful and majestic looking. I love to be able to go take my own pictures of them. There are many beautiful lighthouses in the world, and I haven't been able to take pictures of very many, but I have taken a few. Here is a slide show of some of the ones I have taken.

I love lighthouses, and your pictures. When we lived in Moss Beach, there was a mile or so north of our home. It was Moss Beach Lighthouse, some call it Pt Montara LH. If you ever are in the area, you should go by and shot a few pictures.

I love light houses! We have been to the one on Ocracoke Island NC. We stayed on the island several days and it was just great! In fact we parked our car and rented bikes to get around the island.
While visiting my friend, Darren in NC last year, we drove almost all the way down the Outer Banks so I could take pictures of the lighthouses. It was great fun, and beautiful. I only missed a few of the lighthouses before I ran out of time....
Sis. Hopper, I would love to go shoot some pics of that lighthouse. Maybe some time you can tell me how to get to it. It is so funny, I live in Calif, yet I only have pictures of 2 lighthouses, here...

There are two others besides the Moss Beach/Pt Montara one - one just north of San Francisco in the Marin Headlands and one south of Half Moon Bay called Pigeon Point. I love lighthouses and would someday, Lord willing, visit each one.
Gayla, your pictures are BEAUTIFUL! I've noticed all the pictures I've seen of yours are exceptional. Have you taken a Photography Class? Just wondering.
Sis. Elms, no I haven't taken a Photography Class, but I want to. I just can't find the time. I love photography and have really "gotten into" it in the past couple of years. I don't really know much about it, but I read about it, and look up photog articles on the computer, etc. I also have a really, nice camera...!
It's one of my "hobbies".
